The American plutocracy - well represented by the TWO PARTY SYSTEM in the United States - operates ABOVE THE LAW all the time because THE LAW is fundamentally all about THEIR capitalist private property interests. In general - as Karl Marx pointed out long ago - THE LAW and consequently lawyers - especially Ivy League trained lawyers - is not above something called the CLASS STRUGGLE. Every year the Ivy League law schools mass produce professional enemies of the working class and not a few of them end up in the Congress of the United States, on the Supreme Court , as governors and attorney generals of the states. As for PUBLIC OPINION expressed by the mainstream news media Karl Marx said long ago : " the ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class ". The present bitter conflict between conservative Republicans and WOKE Democrats can only be explained as a conflict WITHIN the American ruling class. Both parties are completely disconnected from the American working class . But the Democratic Party in just a few years has managed to completely alienate the CHRISTIAN working class.
