I was born on July 26, 1947 in Providence, Rhode Island . The Providence that was was GONE WITH THE WIND by the early 1970s . Providence born horror writer H.P. Lovecraft LOVED this city . " I AM PROVIDENCE " he wrote. But today in 2022 Kennedy Plaza could have inspired Lovecraft's tale " Horror At Red Hook ". The city was so much more ALIVE and vibrant in the 1950s and 1960s -years that I do remember. More " friendly " bars back then and charming ,cheap places to buy lunch. Some classic movie theaters.
