High school math textbooks can be made more interesting and relevant by numerous examples from NATURE and the PHYSICAL WORLD . It is educational quackery to insinuate WOKE political views in math exercises. It is far more important for students to develop COMPETENCE in math concepts than to absorb RIGHT THINKING ( often LEFT thinking ) on culture war issues. A still relevant book was written by Professor Morris Kline years ago : " Mathematics and the Physical World " .
