To see the Russian -Ukraine conflict as comparable to the theme of " The Stand " - " GOOD vs. EVIL " -is a sign of a booze soaked, drug intoxicated brain. So it is " OUR democracy " vs. Big Bad Putin ? Stephen King - who cannot now be ruined by some black list - cannot see the simple truth of our times : the decay of democracy on all fronts , the contempt shown on the LEFT and on the RIGHT for the FREE SPEECH, FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization? This very well read author , Stephen King , cannot see through Wilsonian blather ( " FREEDOM ", " SOVEREIGN nation ", " FREE WORLD " , " OUR democracy", " war to make the world safe for democracy " ) of " Sleepy Joe " Biden , now self - appointed GREAT LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD and of Ukraine president Zelensky , a war mongering puppet of ZIONIST Apartheid Israel ? Does King think that ordinary working class Ukrainians were just longing for a dangerous and foolish alliance with an effete, moribund, and rotting NATO ? Does King think that ordinary working class Americans - who have had a good whiff of " OUR democracy " in recent years- are mad as hell at Russia , all fired up over a SOVEREIGN Ukraine ? Our American plutocracy is on a higher moral level than Putin's Russian oligarchy ? What wisdom does " OUR democracy" have to offer POST-COMMUNIST Russia ? Something as nice as our TWO PARTY SYSTEM -now falling apart in the USA ? The best horror fiction does have a MORAL point of view . That is not true of hateful propaganda - the voice of OUR CIA, Pentagon, DEEP STATE. For years now the " liberal " Democratic Party has promoted the HATE RUSSIA, New McCarthyism . What matters for THEM are imperialist interests not foggy democratic ideals. Nuclear World War III for this crap ? Stephen King should review his loyalty to the WOKE Democratic Party. Intellectual sobriety is never too late in coming - not for an " APT PUPIL ".
