An interesting article published on World Socialist Web Site today (March 29 , 2022 ) on the role of the Democratic Party in the Ukraine -Russia conflict. This rips the Russia-Ukraine war out of its historical context. Most importantly, it conceals the role of American imperialism in preparing and deliberately instigating the conflict. The reactionary war has been seized on to generate a veneer of popular support to the long-prepared US-NATO campaign to overthrow the Putin regime, break up Russia, and reduce it to a semi-colonial status.
