I really think that FREE SPEECH and FREE THOUGHT are less dangerous to " OUR democracy " than certain malicious " misinformation " as judged by capitalist ruling class censors . A population with taught CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS is in no danger of succumbing to the BIG LIE . But our public schools prefer to teach CRITICAL RACE THEORY rather than CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS .
Of course , our venerable mainstream news media -led by the venerable New York Times - never misleads the American public. Like telling us about " weapons of mass destruction in Iraq " before the start of the greatest foreign policy blunder in American history : the invasion and occupation of Iraq -which has destabilized the Middle East to this day.
