To what degree is HUMAN FREEDOM in ANY civilized society compatible with the necessary DIVISION OF LABOR ?

It is no surprise to an old socialist that most working class people hate their jobs. In this past ,mostly COVID-19 depressing, year, millions had a rare opportunity to be " born again " in the capitalist work place . Of course , they will quickly discover that capitalist exploitation and oppression just assumes different forms: " Meet the new boss, same as the old boss... We won't be fooled again ! "
The real fundamental question here is the necessary DIVISION OF LABOR in ANY civilized society . Even under a more egalitarian " socialism " we will take it for granted that somebody will pick up the garbage, somebody will attend to the body needs of patients in hospitals and nursing homes, somebody will drive the school bus, somebody will teach the kids reading , writing , and arithmetic . Somebody will repair the house roof , fix the broken refrigerator, repair indispensable technology . Somebody must know how to treat your headache or toothache or back ache . We take it for granted that the mail man will come most week days.
In capitalist society every kid is asked -as if it were all matter of imagination and free will : " And what do YOU want to be when you grow up ? " How many kids see themselves as grave diggers for paupers or laundry workers in the state prison ? Something wrong here ? To what degree is HUMAN FREEDOM in ANY civilized society compatible with the necessary DIVISION OF LABOR ?
