I wonder if the PUBLIC LIBRARY is being used as a dumping ground for the mentally disturbed

I could not resist turning on my AUDIO while seated at a Cranston Public Library computer station. Across from me an autistic man- a regular here - was acting out with his care giver. He refused to cover his nose with his facemask . There is that new governor order in effect for public places in Rhode Island.
I wonder if the PUBLIC LIBRARY is being used as a dumping ground for the mentally disturbed . Of course , ANYBODY who will respect LIBRARY RULES - like QUIET ! - should feel welcomed at public libraries.
Do the rights of the handicapped -or " mentally challenged " - over-ride the rights of the majority here ?
Once in the library I told one of these autistic disturbers of QUIET to shut up . I was immediately accosted and shamed by a staff member. Was I not being hateful and very politically incorrect ? By the way , I was not informed that the person was AUTISTIC and needed special attention and consideration. In the future I will seek instruction in VIRTUE SIGNALING .
