Here is one point of political disagreement I have with the World Socialist Web Site : I just can't see the events of January 6, 2021 as a serious coup attempt against " OUR democracy ". Joe Biden was- by the standards of BOURGEOIS federal law- elected the LEGITMIATE president of the United States in an election very similar to November 2016 (CLOSE but no cigar, Donald )-. But for four years after the Trump shock victory of 2016 the Democrats fanned the flames of a HATE RUSSIA, New McCarthyism - and openly encouraged " Seven Days in May " intrigue . . It did seem to this DEMOCRATIC socialist that the " progressive " Democrats were flirting with an " It Can't Happen Here " FASCIST coup . Today the politically bankrupt Democrats persist in smearing Trump as a would be American Hitler , the root of all evil in " OUR democracy ". In truth ,Trump never came anywhere near the malevolence of Adolph Hitler. But the " FAKE NEWS ". mainstream media came close to Hitler's propaganda machine . Even now NBC, CBS , ABC would have us believe the Orwellian " 1984 " truth that 2+2= 5 on many issues. For example, " CRITICAL RACE THEORY " .
