It went on for over a week at the Broad St. School in Providence, attracting hundreds of the curious, the ghoulish– until Mrs Agnes Grundy of 315 California Ave. a member of the Legion of Decency, a militant Catholic group opposed to all forms of obscenity, complained to the chief of police. "Shut down that blasphemous Science Fair ! " she demanded.
Tara Chase, age 13, was for a few brief months an Internet celebrity in what amounted to a legalized child pornography " art exhibition ", complete with her mother's permission and the services of an ACLU lawyer, David Gold .
The " exhibition " attracted a deranged sex maniac who murdered little Miss Chase in the vicinity of the Temple of Music in Roger Williams Park, on October 31,1996.
Well for some time now Little Miss Chase has been again an Internet celebrity - not as a jail bait beauty but -this is INCREDIBLE - but as a DECAYING CORPSE - in various, detailed stages of decay- from early rigor mortis to the later more ghastly stages of liquefying putrescence.

To get the gruesome photographs highly sophisticated infrared cameras were positioned inside her coffin. A precocious science student, Norman Gates, carried out the project, which lasted an entire year. The science fair project was titled : "A Time Lapse Study of Human Post Mortem Decomposition ".
Lawyer Gold has a police record . He was arrested in 1980 for prostituting his wife out of their Garden City home. People were paying more than $100.00 per ticket to gain admission to the elementary school science fair.
