Tara , the real FAR LEFT view of the police is that in all capitalist countries they serve the plutocracy. As individuals they might be good or bad human beings but their role is to be the pitbull guardians of corporate PRIVATE PROPERTY . They cannot be DEFUNDED . They must be REPLACED with very different COMMUNITY police. This can be done peacefully without ugly chaos .
