SCIENCE now the " god that failed " ?

 For me the public voice of SCIENCE has as much credibility as a 1990s Kevin Trudeau TV infomercial. Science once claimed to be more infallible than the Pope. That might have been true of the scientific method . But as a HUMAN institution SCIENCE has been corrupted by the capitalist economic system. How few professional scientists dare to ridicule the thousands of examples of false advertising - especially prescription drugs , and the charlatan junk of the FOR PROFIT health care industry- daily promoted on radio and TV. How many psychiatrists dare to suggest that VIAGRA might harm a middle aged or elderly male's mental health ? Clearly SCIENCE is another god that failed in 20th -now the 21st- century .

And as much as I admire the late astronomer CARL SAGAN I cannot get too excited over WHAT HYDROGEN ATOMS CAN DO AFTER 13 BILLION YEARS OF EVOLUTION. They can do THIS : what we read about every day in the newspaper.
