This honest letter was published in " The Militant " , the voice of the Socialist Workers Party - the now degenerate Jack Barnes ex-Trotskyist personality cult . The party is now pro-Zionist and this week has little to say about Israel's criminal war raging against the oppressed and dispossessed Palestinians. A threat of genocide !
The letter suggests that the SWP is going soft on the American police state . Slobbering over the superfluous rights of killer cops . The same mentality makes them soft on belligerent Zionism - a major factor in any real or imagined increase in anti-Semitism. Where on earth are Catholics and Protestants howling against " The Jews " ? As if they never left the Dark Age !

Chauvin trial
[ I don’t understand at all the statement from Doug Nelson in the May 10 issue, “Chauvin trial dealt blows to rights workers need.” Isn’t serious jail time for killer cops after big protests in the street a victory? The masses in the streets are what made the state take this prosecution seriously. Isn’t a just and working-class demand to prosecute, convict, and jail killer cops? If so, is that a demand that deals a blow to the presumption of innocence?]
