All American politicians funded by the Israel Lobby should register as agents of a foreign power. Like Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer who said he wants to be " Israel's guardian angel ". Naturally it is easier for black Americans- and all " people of color "- to identify with the oppressed , dispossessed Palestinians than with rich and arrogant Zionists in Israel or here in the United States. Way back in 1965 Malcolm X made a connection between racism and imperialism , between racism and capitalism. My favorite Malcolm X quote : " Show me a capitalist and I will show you a blood sucker ! " In a letter to his wife in 1953 Martin Luther King said he was moving toward some form of Christian socialism - as capitalism seemed finished. But you can be sure that the hard core of the Democratic Party is NOT moving toward any form of socialism. And it fully supports bloody Zionist Apartheid Israel. Democratic socialists reject ALL forms of toxic nationalism which invariably lead to endless , stupid wars .
