It is true that a border defines a nation state. No nation state on Earth can be completely open. Socialist internationalism would simply establish an equilibrium in border crossing. Mass migration is a sign of unacceptable conditions in certain countries. But look at The Good Earth from outer space. Nation-states are indistinguishable. And the human species is ONE !
