TWO silly apologists for Columbus statue vandalism - include Rachel Miller ?

  "  History for a very long time has been written from a certain perspective, and that perspective has been the victors'," said Ward 13 City Councilwoman Rachel Miller, who represents Federal Hill and the West End. Miller introduced the ordinance proposing the committee's formation last week. 

"In 2019, to not recognize that Columbus was, in many ways, a perpetrator of genocide ... Providence has an indigenous community that we should also be able to celebrate," she said. (  PROJO , Nov. 14, 2019 ) ]

                 Was Christopher Columbus in any way responsible for  CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY  connected to American imperialist wars- in the 20th century and well into the 21st- or connected to the daily horror of  " OUR  CAPITALIST WAY OF LIFE "  for millions of exploited and oppressed working class people and wretched, destitute poor people - of ALL races and ethnic groups ?

                   Phony liberal Democrats join the ignorant crowd in cursing Christopher Columbus but nothing they DO changes life for THE MANY  in capitalist America today.   

                            Is not the story of Zionist Apartheid Israel written from the " perspective of the victors "  ?   Regionally the New York Times , the Boston Globe, the Providence Journal report on Israel from the perspective of the " Greater Israel " lobby.   The mainstream news media equates anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism and CENSORS all news and opinions embarrassing to " OUR special relationship  with Israel "  ( Congressman David Cicilline ) .

                         Do  Rachel Miller and Katherine Kerwin ever have a kind thought for the LIVING natives of Israel , the dispossessed and oppressed Palestinians ?   Why not sponsor a  bronze statue of Yassir Arafat in Providence's  Kennedy Plaza ?
