As a lifelong independent socialist I think the Democrat Party is now a complete ideological mess. On what common ground can " socialist " Bernie Sanders and " progressive " Elizabeth Warren stand with the likes of Establishment figures Joe Biden and just entering the presidential race, Michael Bloomberg ?
The old Democrat Party will implode by early summer 2020. Some nebulous THIRD PARTY will emerge.

I just learned that the venerable Christopher Columbus statue in the Elmwood section of Providence was once again vandalized . And days ago a like minded villain smashed an expensive stained glass window of Saint Paul's Church in Cranston.
I can see an opening for " Law & Order Socialism ". The illiberal liberal Democrats are self-destructing .
