EVIL is nothing new even within the Catholic Church . Show me a once good priest who is a sexual threat to innocent children and I'll show you a LOST SOUL out of Dante's Inferno - a person who lost FAITH , lost touch with the divine and the mystical relationship with Christ . Not a fantastic notion that SATAN himself kept him employed and " busy " in the Catholic Church. " The power of Christ commands you ! Be gone Lucifer !
Sometimes scary movies like the classic horror film " The Exorcist " explain for the human heart unspeakable EVIL better than oh-so-rational , so scientific, clinical psychiatry reports: " The disturbed priest in Room 101 " .
I keep thinking, as one old enough ( " not an old altar boy , Father ") to be familiar with the golden age of the Catholic Church in America, that Vatican II hubris had SATANIC inspiration indeed.. Vatican II did destroy the once sublime MYSTIQUE of the Catholic Church. Another old Catholic Church is closing down in an historic French neighborhood in Woonsocket, Rhode Island - still beautiful distinctly Catholic architecture now haunted by ghostly voices of long dead and hopefully not burning in hell priests saying the Latin Mass with that super eerie Bach organ music .
