Never acknowledged BIG MISTAKE of the 1917 Russian Revolution

More thoughts on collapse of ISO Swan song of socialist VANGUARD PARTY?

["We know that the filth of our society gets into every institution and walk of life, and this is true for the left and progressive movements as well as the establishment. "

WE ARE all devastated by the revelations about the rot — sexism, secrecy, abuse and cruelty — in sections of the national “leadership” of the ISO. These are profound betrayals and far worse than anything we could have imagined. The behavior is devastating precisely because it is antithetical to everything we hold dear. This is not the organization we thought we were building.]

The more than 100 years since the highly significant but over-glamorized 1917 Russian Revolution have seen the " the filth of our [capitalist ] society penetrate into EVERY self-appointed  " vanguard "  Marxist, Leninist, Trotskyist , Maoist  party. They are or were invariably led by some permanent GREAT LEADER ( with a very capitalist  private bank account ) surrounded by at most a few hundred loyal members so much like the " Clears " of the daffy Church of Scientology .

A never acknowledged BIG MISTAKE of the Russian Revolution in triumph : making THEIR state " officially atheist ".   It disgusts me how even contemporary Marxist parties exude the obnoxious spirit of the New Atheism.

What kind of socialist EQUALITY party would make  millions of devout Catholics and Protestants , the Muslim faithful, and Orthodox Jews second class " comrades " or persecuted pariahs  daily excoriated by some " Society of the Godless "  ?
Human religious instincts will not be satisfied by dreary ETERNAL MATTER IN MOTION and quasi-metaphysical QUANTUM FOAM  as an answer to " IN THE BEGINNING ... "
