This morning I thought I bought the regular brand of Barbasol Shaving Creme.  For me ONE cup of coffee is  mildly stimulating but hardly " invigorating ". I read the aerosol can :

[  "   USA Celebrating 100 years   IMPROVED INVIGORATING FORMULA
PACIFIC RUSH with CAFFEINE & Menthol ."]   PRICE $1.49 Stop & Shop

Add " LIVELY RUSH "  of what menthol or CAFFEINE ? Why not add nicotine or cocaine ?

And  " free market " conservatives  think that one way to invigorate capitalism is to euthanize the government WATCHDOGS ?

  " No.
There are relatively few compounds that are effectively absorbed directly through the skin, and caffeine is not one of them. Putting caffeine in shaving cream will not accomplish anything.
As far as 'coffee scrubs', there is no way to determine whether or not the caffeine in the coffee, as compared to any of the other myriad chemical compounds in coffee, is what is causing the perceived changes in how your skin 'feels'   " ]
