Autistic kids being " dumped " unsupervised in Rhode Island public libraries ?

Helping Children With Autism Find Joy And Community Through Surfing

Children with autism or any challenging mental illness need all the state and community support they can get. But for months now kids described as " autistic " have been routinely( " dumped " ?) at local libraries in Rhode Island . Supervised or unsupervised they are often loud and disruptive. I always thought that QUIET was the strict rule of ALL public libraries . The security guard at the Cranston Public Library will be in your face in seconds if your cell phone goes off.

The Library gives no polite notice to regular patrons to please be patient with the groups of identified autistic kids . But still what about MAJORITY RIGHTS here ?

The benighted state of Rhode Island made news recently when several dead babies and horribly neglected foster kids were removed from a filthy unsanitary house. The " mother " faces murder charges . But what about the Rhode Island DCYF officials in charge of the case ? This is what I mean by DUMPING ? The autistic kids at the library need a specialized place for their care and supervision.

Jan 16, 2019 - A Rhode Island woman was arrested after her 9-year-old adopted daughter with special needs died and seven more of her adoptive children were found living in filthy conditions in the same home. Michelle Rothgeb was arrested Sunday on charges of cruelty to, or neglect of a child ...

[ " According to the report, Rothgeb fostered 13 children from 2011 to 2018, with eight children being the most she had in her home at one time. The report says many of the children were handicapped, nonverbal and autistic. " ]

When an elderly gentleman told one of the noisy autistic kids at the Cranston Public Library to please shut up HE was rebuked as a rotten ,insensitive soul .

Everywhere in " OUR democracy " the majority is being marginalized
