Must we get hints from ancient Sparta on how to discipline the youth ?

I think the collective wisdom of the American working class in dealing with the oppressive plutocracy should be channeled into a broad ( liberal , socialist, reformist ) American Labor Party . This party will practice a principle called " democratic socialism " : complete freedom of debate , complete UNITY of action.

               I focus on the Democratic Party because it has the most insidious snares for duping the working class voters.

      However , I give critical support to ANY politician who talks sense on a particular issue - as I have Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

     Oddly enough, on the Culture War front I find conservative Republicans and conservative Catholics often making sense. Every viewpoint has a spark of wisdom and should have the right to be heard ( FACE BOOK censorship notwithstanding ).

                  On HOW TO EDUCATE THE YOUTH the " liberal " Democrats are often clueless. The old Catholic school nuns had more success in teaching The Three Rs and via the Baltimore Catechism instilling the seeds of a moral conscience, a sense of RIGHT and WRONG, which can save the kids from the real pit of HELL on this side of paradise, East of Eden .

 Save them from hellish drug addiction, alcoholism, gambling, sex slavery, bad unhealthy habits , and general deplorable juvenile delinquency , the consequence of a certain pernicious contempt for Law & Order in the best sense of the words.

                  Must we get hints from ancient Sparta on how to discipline the youth ? The IDEA that one lives for THE GROUP -not THE SELF - is very therapeutic.
