It is foolish and unethical to dismiss EVERYBODY outside your little Trotskyist cult as as deplorable " pseudo-socialists " . The Democratic Left needs a big tent - or it will dissolve into insignificance.
Above all it must learn to build bridges to the vast RELIGIOUS majority of the human race.
It is a hard sell : " The Society of the Godless ".
It is a hard sell : bloody civil violence.
It is a hard sell : FREEDOM IS SLAVERY ( or conformity to the know -it- all elite ) .
