          In order to make irrational capitalism functional the ruling class, in control of the education system, must succeed in stupefying the best and the brightest , to cripple their ability to see THE SYSTEM for the monster that it is.

 Their professional cretinism is on display when they subscribe to the New York Times in the snobby conviction that this is the last word in political wisdom and sophistication.           This is perhaps a common experience for many working class and middle class American families: I was in the room with my woman companion Dorene - sick with bone cancer from an earlier breast cancer- when she was told over the phone by some major cancer center that they don't take Medicare. They are as cold blooded as lizards !

            Would a humane health care system allow any doctors or dentists or hospitals or nursing homes or cancer treatment centers to refuse Medicare patients ? But what then about the RIGHTS OF MONEY ?

         Medicare did allow my Dorene to pass away peacefully with dignity in April 2017 at the Hope Hospice Center in Providence, R.I.

                I think the German working class was far better educated at the turn of the 20th century . They were far more generally literate and scientifically literate than many American high school and college graduates today. I am a political opponent of both President Donald Trump and conservative thinkers like these two " Red Eye Radio " hosts. But that does not blind me to respectable arguments. Not rarely President Trump shows some refreshingly crude honesty .That is why HE is president today - not " Corrupt Hillary ".

" Conservatism " is not just a stubborn political orientation . Along with " Liberalism " and " Radicalism " it is a broad philosophy of life. At times in the history of civilization one of these ways of thinking is wiser than others.

In recent decades " Conservatism " shows more REASON in the cultural wars - along with the Catholic Tradition so much scorned by that generic " Left ".

" Conservativism " , however , is muddled in imagining that the capitalist epoch in history is forever, that there is no real MOTION in history.

            Sadly the " liberalism " of the Democrats has nothing in common with a great tradition . It is now besotted by vicious and vacuous " identity politics " - a long way from FDR and the New Deal

Pelosi's Democratic Opponents Go Public, But Still Lack Challenger

Young Democrats -not yet corrupted by a completely corrupt political party- might see the light here : replacing old hack Nancy Pelosi will not begin to purify the Democratic Party for any " progressive " purpose. Nor do their puffed up stars, Senator Bernie Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren , represent any break from  capitalist politics.

I commend a lawyer named Horowitz - mentioned on local radio today - for protesting the lynch mob circus outside Gardner's Washington Park home. My family lived in a very different Washington Park in far better times- the 50s and 60s.

Two Years After Voters Legalized It, Recreational Marijuana Is Almost Ready To Buy Legally

Legalizing marijuana should also open minds to the foolish and costly WAR ON DRUGS . Individuals should be able to decide for themselves what drugs to take for their idiosyncratic pains or just to FEEL GOOD - a basic human right .

       The doctor's prescription here should be a thing of the past . Already they are getting cruelly cautious with old people in need of pain medication . Don't worry about 80 year olds becoming addicted.

             Also, ALL doctors and dentists, hospitals and nursing homes , all cancer treatment centers, should be obliged to accept ALL Medicare and Medicaid patients.

   Presently we are nowhere near HEALTH CARE AS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT .

    And why does Medicare continue to think that dental health has nothing to do with general physical health ? How stupid . As for PAIN what compares to the average tooth ache ?
