I am perplexed that socialist propaganda ( in the good sense ) - armed with the Marxist theory of value- has not yet persuaded many millions that nothing the capitalists do in their busy day - no finite " investment " of mental or physical energy- no creative " intellectual property " - justifies their monopoly accumulation of wealth.
I have read " liberals " confess that they reject the very ideal of " socialism " because they hate the idea of human equality. Their justification for this hideous economic inequality is a secular version of the divine right of kings. Not for nothing our ONE PERCENT is jealous of real British royalty. But our benevolent philanthropists will blush at knighthood bestowed.
Oh what a drab world it will be without our BETTERS to look down on us !
