A SECULAR state can serve both Jews and Palestinians

      I don't quarrel with ancient history. But why cling to the dead past ? It is profoundly undemocratic today to identify ANY land area of the globe with ONE ethnic group ? As a partisan of Western Civilization I can respect Israel's good points. But " apartheid " is not one of them. 

The Palestinians need some ideological breakthrough themselves. Obviously a new ISLAMIC state side by side Israel is not a positive development ( with Saudi Arabia style executions and be-headings for adultery or blasphemy ) 

The international socialist ideal will work for both Palestinians and Jews. A SECULAR state for BOTH will not disrespect religious culture and sentimental attachment to " the bones of our ancestors ? Oddly enough ORTHODOX Jews are more and more disillusioned with nation state worship ( militant Zionism ) . Or read Howard Zinn on what Jews have lost.« less
