So capitalism is divine in the USA and in the land of our favorite ally Israel ?

Letter: Kathy Forte: Flag is a symbol of America's highest ideals
Every nation state in the world has a flag . We Americans, however, are intoxicated with the idea of American " exceptionalism ". But American capitalist society is not less crude , American imperialism not less imperialistic, American " patriotism " not less stultifying than that of any other nation. Our ruling class - not on a higher moral level than the ruling circles in Russia, China, North Korea, Iran- is now planning nuclear World War III to make the world safe for the American plutocracy.

How can the flag be anything but a false symbol of UNITY in a class divided society ? Last time I checked not even the " progressive " Democrats -like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren - had any quarrel with US foreign policy or the dictatorship of Wall Street.

" With liberty and justice for all ? " When ? Not believing in God anymore, our Ayn Rand inspired ruling class cannot even tell the common people to " hope for Heaven " . Remove that insulting " Prayer on the Wall " at Cranston West High School !

But where in the much maligned Catholic " Baltimore Catechism " do you find Ayn Rand's " Virtue of Selfishness " - the key value of the capitalist profit system ?

Do our New Atheists worship the reality behind the American flag - the nation state ? Ayn Rand decorated her grave site with a floral design shaped like a dollar sign . That is the TRUE GOD of our plutocracy !

So capitalism is divine in the USA and in the land of our favorite ally , Apartheid ( nuclear armed ) Israel ?
