Stop smearing Steve Bannon as a " Nazi "

Bannon: 'It's A Season Of War Against The GOP Establishment'

If " Christian principles " were taken seriously - even by Christians - we would have a social order correctly described as " democratic socialist ". The early Christians were also primitive socialists in a century when slavery was deeply entrenched and mostly unquestioned . Old stoic Seneca- who later had the status of a Church Father - at least declared slaves to be HUMAN : positive news for the lowest of the low Christians back then.

Any " socialist " today who despises Christians and Christianity will never get a hearing from working class Christians.

This much maligned Steve Bannon has some good points . Religious freedom is being attacked in the USA today. Just a few years ago nearly all the Republican candidates for president were declaring themselves eternally faithful to the principles of that militant atheist Ayn Rand.

Among neo-liberal Democrats Ayn Rand's " Virtue of Selfishness " also reigns supreme. Their ACLU lawyers would associate traditional - 2000 year old Catholicism - with fanatical " hate ". Yet they have no quarrel with Apartheid Israel.

When a " liberal " Democrat -now disgraced - Harvey Weinstein tells an Israel Lobby audience to imitate the Mafia, what hypocrisy for them to call Steve Bannon a " Nazi " .

Do the " liberal " Democrats include millions of white Christians in their list of " deplorables " ? How can they possibly make a political comeback in 2018 ?

Stop smearing Steve Bannon . But let him at least try to apply Christian principles to capitalist economics.

The Old Testament gives us the wrath of Amos - when we neglect the poor.

        STEVE BANNON BACKGROUND

[ " I come from a blue-collar, Irish Catholic, pro-Kennedy, pro-union family of Democrats,” he said. His middle-class parents (his father was a telephone lineman) sent him to Catholic schools, where Bannon reportedly took 12 years of Latin, and he attended Catholic-affiliated Georgetown University for graduate school.
Bannon still retains his Catholicism, but he eventually abandoned the left-leaning views of his upbringing after he became disenchanted with the presidency of Democrat Jimmy Carter. He went on to form a decidedly right-wing worldview, which he bolstered with an active intellect and broadened with a resume right at home among the GOP elite: years of Navy service, a degree from Harvard Business School, and a stint at Goldman Sachs.]
