No need for PROFIT to drive industry in the 21st century

Trump Says Jobs Can Close Racial Divides. Here's Why That's Unlikely

There is no " white supremacy " or " white privilege " in the United States - unless the 60s Civil Rights Movement was a dismal failure.

Employment and under-employment are essentially CLASS issues in the capitalist economic system. There is no separate system for unemployment security or minimum wage or income tax for white citizens and black citizens, for working class males and working class females.

The obstacle to full employment under capitalism is CAPITAL itself. As Karl Marx explained way back in 1848 in " The Communist Manifesto " : the working class is employed as long as CAPITAL finds it profitable. A rational and humane economic system would not set up such artificial barriers to using the full creative and productive potential of the working class.

Today even skilled and experienced nurses are losing their jobs . Did they make the wrong career choice ?

There is no inevitable need for PROFIT to drive human industry in the 21st century.

Only democratic socialism is worthy of our advanced INFORMATION AGE computer technology. The Fabian socialist H.G. Wells would have called it " The World Brain ".
