  I recommend Professor Howard Zinn " People's History of the United States ". It is also very human to rebel against exploitation and oppression. Show me a first rate historian who believes that History culminates in the conservative American Constitution and successive " American Centuries " .

 

 The ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class. Their control of public education makes it likely that most high school graduates and most college graduates cannot even IMAGINE an economic system quite different from American capitalism.

         How shocking that we democratic socialists question and challenge even LEGITIMATE wealth ?
