What can resolve the impasse is for really " progressive " leaders to call millions of Americans into the streets to defend gains in this life and death matter- but also to demand a real national health care system which does indeed make health care for ALL a basic human...right - not a commodity to be purchased on the free or rigged market.
And where does the money come from ? From all the money wasted on foolish militarism. A trillion dollars to modernize a genocidal nuclear weapons systems ? In general, capitalism gives us too many products and services useless, criminal, and insane.
