Can police and military force kill a GREAT IDEA ?

   In general, the mainstream news media here - led by the " venerable " NYT - just wants to ignore the huge fact that Russia today is a capitalist country. Leon Trotsky was so right about the Stalinist regime leading the country all the way BACKWARD to capitalism.

There must be an underground anti-capitalist movement in Russia for whom "socialism " and " 1917 " have not been vaporized down an Orwellian memory hole.

How did the post-Soviet era regime in Russia quickly convince the majority of thinking working class Russians that the very idea of socialism was corrupt and even non-progressive ? With CIA tutors ?

Did the working class of China also stop thinking too ? No hiding of Mao's " Little Red Book " under beds ?

What a world for soldiers everywhere to fight and die for : just wealthy plutocracies on every continent. Is the American plutocracy morally superior to the wealthy Russian oligarchy ?

But can police and military force kill a GREAT IDEA - international socialist solidarity ?

Or was George Orwell nightmare vision of THE FUTURE right : " picture a boot stamping on a human face forever " ?
