As
a democratic socialist I can only deplore that death of the spirit of
60s Free Speech Movement among today's neo-liberal Democrats - at war
with both New Deal ideals and objective reality.
What makes them fear
FREE SPEECH and FREE THOUGHT so much ? I suspect it is their own
intellectual bankruptcy: brains frozen in the absurd belief that effete "
identity politics " is the key to understanding all social justice
mysteries.
They could all use a dose of Marxian CLASS analysis.
