Picking on the politically incorrect INDIVIDUAL is not the way to a
more civil society. It is the common experience of adults in this
society to witness almost daily hateful racist remarks and verbal
contempt for any and all ethnic groups.
I have a Jewish friend who
thinks Germans are invariably " cold " if not vicious. Now, why would
this intelligent gentle person think like that. ? Use your own social
imagination here.
Any public shaming of individuals will only leave
ugly thoughts smoldering in them .Nobody should lose a job over mere
WORDS.
The root of racism, sexism, homophobia is a capitalist
social order based on economic inequality. A mad competition for jobs
and " a place in the sun " makes for meanness of character.
