correct Eric Blair was the birth name of George Orwell of " 1984 " fame.
As a democratic socialist - who said that " socialism should be obvious
" - Orwell would have been sickened by what passes for " professional
journalism " in the USA today. The mainstream news media is now nothing
but the monotonous voice of BIG BROTHER CIA.
They want to get us into a holy war with Russia - these Ayn Rand inspired neo-cons in both parties. Ayn Rand was a militant atheist and a crude Zionist who felt superior to the Palestinians. Zionist or All-American state worship is a form of idolatry.
A book on Ayn Rand is aptly titled : " A Life of Contempt "
