Still a need for a scientific view of human history

Beyond the emotions aroused by partisan politics there is the intellectual need for a scientific theory of human history and of human society.
A great beginning for scientific history
You cannot justify exploiting capitalism in the same way that religious obscurantists for centuries justified slavery, feudalism, and the divine right of kings.

A political system evolves more or less consistent with the economic system. Democratic socialists deny any intrinsic need for a capitalist exploiting class.

They challenge the moral legitimacy of even " legitimate " wealth - mostly from a secular humanist point of view.
