No I cannot associate hawkish " Wall St. Hillary " with the social
gospel. At least the Ayn Rand Republicans were more honest. Ayn Rand was
a militant atheist . But ironically she thought capitalism was divine.
The Democratic Party is no more open to religious " socialism " than it
is to Marxist socialism. Look how they sabotaged the Bernie Sanders
campaign.
I suggest that Bernie re-read the Canton Speech of Eugene V.
Debs for insight into his defeat, also for a clue on a " socialist "
foreign policy ( that would not defend U.S. imperialism ).
For many centuries religious hypocrisy has been used to justify both slavery and the domination of the ruling class.
