No " democratic socialist " will let his or her political soul be poisoned by narrow minded- and often vicious in action- " patriotism " or nationalism. The deranged man who assassinated British MP Jo Cox gave voice to essence of this collective insanity in shouting " death to traitors ".
U.S. imperialism is not on a higher moral level in opposition to any designated enemy in the world- certainly not post-Soviet era Russia, certainly not modern China.
Does anybody think hawkish, " Wall St. Hillary " -now leading in polls- is the peace candidate in contrast to the more blunt but erratic Donald Trump ?
