I would be more impressed with a Republican -or a Democrat- who questioned our capitalist way of life. "[ rather than just revise his or her attitude toward homosexuality ] Socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders at least made a timid step in this direction.
How many affluent gay voters have no quarrel with global capitalism or the root of the horror in the Middle East : the new American Colonialism ?
For inspiration they might read the essays of that openly gay American "leftist " writer Gore Vidal. I doubt if Gore Vidal would vote for " lesser evil " Hillary Clinton despite her political correctness and her " identity politics ".
