The fact that Donald Trump might be a true " self-destruct " candidate does not make hawkish " Wall St. Hillary " Clinton more appealing to many supporters of " socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders.
Hillary Clinton is very much THE CANDIDATE of Wall St. and the Pentagon. The hard core of " corrupt Hillary "( Trump ) support comes from the black bourgeoisie and jaded middle class feminists and the usual darlings of " identity politics ".
The polls giving an edge to Hillary Clinton should be revised to include third party competition- like Jill Stein's Green Party and the vigorous Libertarian Party. I suspect that Trump has at least a slight edge with the rather witless support of the " angry white working class ".
This is the year of the Anti-Establishment Voter and The Donald is perceived as that - with Bernie Sanders ( " political revolution " ) about to endorse Status Quo Hillary Clinton.
I commend Jill Stein of the Green Party for urging voters not to be frightened into voting for perceived -often wrongly perceived- " lesser evil " candidates. Hillary is a whole lot of lesser evil.
