Hold on, this is waiting to be approved by NPR NEWS !


This puffed up outrage over a relatively lenient sentence has a reactionary tone to it. There are too many poor and working class prisoners given harsh sentences for less than " crime of the century " offenses.

Justice is not served by demanding - in lynch mob fashion- more legally sadistic punishment for perceived " privileged " individuals.

       I recall articles about how to deal with rapists and child molesters in popular " Science Digest " articles in the 1950s.

Why are we less enlightened and " scientific " nowadays about sex crimes ? Is strident feminism the voice of reason ?
