Gender identity quackery and make-a-buck corruption

Should not the public schools also inculcate a respect for the scientific belief in objective reality ?


Should not any professional psychiatrist dealing with a gender identity case in a young person first of all " do no harm " ?


 A young female relative of mine - just past adolescence- and diagnosed as a " challenged " learner in her high school years - was recently prescribed male hormone pills by a doctor informed about her gender identity crisis.

     Is this ethical medical practice ? We love our family member whatever. But I am shocked by an odor of make-a-buck- quackery.

 Public school " respect for transgendered children ?
