Party unity is a meaningless façade unless it is principled. With the most " good will " in the world how do you reconcile " political revolution " stressing " unacceptable economic inequality " ( Bernie Sanders ) with the " greed is good " Wall St. status quo ? Quasi-pacifism with Neo-Colonialism ?
What has the ONE PERCENT done for that " angry working class " lately ? Both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump agree that the American Dream is dead. The Zeitgeist for Election 2016 is clearly anti-establishment.
It does not help for Hillary supporters to make reckless claims that Bernie Sanders supporters have a " penchant for violence ". That is nothing less than resurgent McCarthyism. A new Red Scare ?
Senator Reed -like President Obama - often sounds very reasonable while essentially trying to square the circle.

Sanders stopped in San Diego, California, for a two-day campaign swing, including a rally Saturday night in National City, near the US-Mexico border, where he addressed a crowd of some 10,000.
