image " contest to both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. Her "
popularity " In Kentucky fell off a cliff-a real nosedive.
It would be ludicrous after last night's near victory ( ? ) in Kentucky and rout of Hillary in Oregon for " socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders to show any humility toward the flawed favorite of the Democratic Party establishment.
It reminds me of a legendary scene in the 1950s where pompous talk show host Arthur Godfrey fired " star " singer Julius La Rosa on air. The young singer rivaled Godfrey in popularity but lacked " humility " , Godfrey said. That was the beginning of the end for Godfrey.
With entertainer Donald Trump on top of the Republican Party this " reality show business " analogy should not seem too " over the top."
