Russia and China should get back to the ABCs of Marxism


  Since the collapse of the Stalinist Soviet Union, the U.S. ruling class has pretended that even " democratic socialism " will fade away into historical oblivion. But the contradictions of capitalism have not gone away.

   Indeed, Russia is worse off today under global capitalism. And " Communist " China's leaders better re-read Chairman Mao: he never stopped hating capitalism.

The Marxist criticism of capitalism - when it avoids fanatical dogmatism- is as valid as ever.

In more confident days of the Soviet Union
