Reversal of fortune for the political favorites of the American ruling class

Any " democratic socialist " or honest progressive would explain the " disconnect " between huge, enthusiastic crowds for Bernie Sanders ( I heard Bernie speak to thousands in Roger Williams Park in Rhode Island on Sunday ) and a political establishment favoring neo- Democrat Hillary Clinton quite simply : the ruling class corruption of " democracy " in America.

Not just crowd support but a new scientific poll favors a Bernie Sanders victory today in Rhode Island. The weather is not too favorable - cold and rainy. I will bet that more " enthusiasm " will drive Sanders supporters than " status quo " Hillary supporters.

But Donald Trump-who had a wild welcome in Warwick yesterday- also tells some hard core truth too : the system is rigged. the fix is in .If you want to spot a shady establishment politician , just watch the way he eats.

There was  just a radio commercial associating the Ayn Rand lover Ted Cruz with the " right to life ".
Not a vintage year for the political favorites of the ONE PERCENT, the American ruling class.

As a critical supporter of " socialist " Democrat Bernie Sanders here in Rhode Island I must also note that Donald Trump is not only one of the most entertaining American presidential candidates in our history but also a bold teller of some hard truths : the system is rigged, the fix is in . And yes, the American Dream is dead. Trump wants to " make America great again with hot- blooded nationalism. Bernie focuses on unacceptable economic inequality. Understandably both men appeal to the angry working class - " forgotten Americans ".
