Democratic Socialism rejects both anti-Semitism and Zionist extremism

     To the degree that Bernie Sanders is a true democratic socialist he rises above ethno-centrism and any form of extreme nationalism or state worship.

   As a champion of social justice he seems very much on the same wave length as Catholic Pope Francis. No democratic socialist would question the right of Israel to exist. But we must never forget to demand justice for the Palestinians.

         I read that modern DNA testing does not validate ethnic "  identity. " The Jews have been a tremendous influence on culture and Western Civilization. Did not monotheism lead from the idea of ONE god to the idea  one common humanity ?

          I think Karl Marx gave us the right perspective on capitalism. An atheist himself, he seemed to have that Old Testament prophet wrath against social injustice.

         The " socialist Jew " is explained and described in Irving Howe's book " World of Our Fathers ". I suspect Bernie Sanders was shaped by that world.

  " Of today's Americans, 2% are Jews. Of today's American millionaires, 50% are Jews. They are organized and cunningly extract enormous amounts of money from our economy without contributing value.
