Capitalism is inherently un-democratic -it " works " for the capitalists

Like the Bernie Sanders campaign the Green Party does seem to embrace a " democratic socialist " perspective on the American Way of Life.

If this is very sweet to you , then you fail to feel the working class- and the ruined middle class- slant on Ayn Rand's " Virtue of Selfishness ".

A democratic socialist myself , I am not obsessed with vilifying people born privileged or whose social position forces them into dubious " service " for the public.

The revolutionary mob might have a harsher judgment. Witness the Great French Revolution of 1789.

In short , capitalism is inherently un-democratic and " works " mostly for the capitalists, the notorious ONE PERCENT.
Of course, peaceful social change is preferable
