Avoid harsh moral judgments on outstanding individuals - and just see the GOOD in them.

As a " critical supporter " of Bernie Sanders I can only commend this article. As compromised as Bernie is within the Democratic Party I suspect the party establishment loathes him anyway for raising public consciousness about true nature of capitalism, for even playing with the idea of " political revolution " and for detoxifying the term " democratic socialism ".

I recall Jill Stein of the Green Party offering to team up with Bernie Sanders, certain of his ultimate repudiation by the very pro-capitalist hard core of his party.

The human tragedy of capitalism is that it does " corrupt " just about everyone even slightly ambitious. I would avoid harsh moral judgments on quite outstanding individuals and just see what " good " they can or do serve.

I concluded a year ago that Bernie Sanders was not quite as " radical " as Ralph Nader for whom I twice voted. Alas, I also voted for Bill Clinton twice- thinking he was once serious about a real national health care plan.

The World Socialist Web Site is impressed with the Bernie Sanders campaign but not with Bernie Sanders. But the Socialist Equality Party is at times weirdly sectarian.
Imperfect human beings will make this a better world.
