Many drowning in medical bills
With the Bernie Sanders " shocking upset " in the Michigan Democratic
Primary , the anti-establishment , progressive voter can be bolder in
demanding a better health care system.
We are still a long way from Senator Ted Kennedy's dream of health care as a basic human right. The highly compromised mess called "Obamacare " still makes health care a commodity on the " free market ".
I recall even the former editorial page editor of the Providence Journal, " liberal ", Robert Whitcomb , in a published column, saying that it would be better just to extend Medicare to all Americans.
The Republicans -not just the smeared Trump ( he is not Hitler ) - are adamant against any form of " socialized medicine ". But a class analysis of American voters will show that they have no profound economic motive to vote Republican.
" Socialism " is coming ! Soon the plutocrats will refer to Bernie Sanders as " that man " ( FDR in 1932 ) .
